To make your holiday an unforgettable experience, we’ve created micro-adventure kits for a getaway exploring biodiversity or for a night-time stroll beneath the Milky Way in our wonderful International Dark Sky Reserve (RICE).

Enjoy our kits free of charge on a daily basis. Simply select them when finalising your booking, contact us a few days before your arrival, or even book them on arrival at the gîtes.

BIODIVERSITY MICRO-ADVENTURE KIT

You don’t have to go far to discover the flora and fauna that surround us! We invite you to set off on a life-sized family exploration in and around the lodges…
With the little ones, discover the rich biodiversity of the Cévennes National Park.
Butterflies, damselflies, grasshoppers, geckos and small wall lizards can be spotted in the garden. In the Auzonnet, the little river that flows at the foot of the gîtes, you can observe crayfish, frogs, fish… Birds are abundant: egrets, herons, ducks, kingfishers, bats, starlings… the list goes on!
If you’re lucky, you might spot Mr Beaver hard at work or our otter friends frolicking in the water, around two hours after dark.

With friends, with family and children aged 6 and over, who must be accompanied by an adult.

ASTRO MICRO-ADVENTURE KIT

Set off on an adventure by the light of our torches, and soak up the purity of our remarkable International Dark Sky Reserve (RICE), the largest in Europe.
Using our pair of binoculars, observe the moon and the Milky Way. Have fun whilst learning with your children thanks to our game ‘Do you know the planets and the solar system?’. Our books on astronomy and the night sky in the Cévennes National Park will be your guides for the evening.

With friends, with family, or with your children aged 10 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
On request, we can help you organise your evening of wildlife watching.
