To turn your holiday into an experience, we've designed micro-adventure kits for an escapade to discover biodiversity or for a night-time drift on the Milky Way of our wonderful International Dark Sky Reserve (RICE).
Take advantage of our free day-long kits. Simply select them when you finalise your booking, contact us a few days before your arrival, or even book them when you arrive at the lodges.
There's life all around!
You don't have to go far to discover the flora and fauna around you! It's in and around the gîtes that we invite you to embark on a life-size exploration with your family?
With your little ones, discover the rich biodiversity of the Cévennes National Park.
Butterflies, damselflies, grasshoppers, geckos and small wall lizards can all be seen in the garden. In the Auzonnet, the little river that runs at the foot of the gîtes, you can watch for crayfish, frogs, fish... There are plenty of birds: egrets, herons, ducks, kingfishers, bats, starlings... the list goes on!
If you're lucky, you'll come across Mr Beaver in the middle of construction or our friends the otters, frolicking in the water for around two hours after dark.
Whether you're with friends or family, children aged 6 and over must be accompanied by an adult.
Immediate take-off
Set off on an adventure by the light of our torches, and soak up the purity of our remarkable International Dark Sky Reserve (RICE), the largest in Europe.
Use our binoculars to observe the moon and the Milky Way. Play and learn with your children in our ‘Do you know the planets and the solar system? Our books on astronomy and night-time in the Cévennes National Park will be your guides for the evening.
With friends, family or children aged 10 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
